Well, actually I do, because this movie is more than just hot, naked guys. I mean don't get me wrong there's plenty of that to go around. But Magic Mike is more than that, it has a lot of heart. Channing Tatum nails his role as Magic Mike. He makes you laugh, cry, and envious of every extra on that set. He plays his stripper role very charismatically and his protective sensitive role to a tee. Alex Pettyfer also does a great job playing the 'newbie'. And being the newbie he gets himself in some sticky situations, and Pettyfer does a great job at playing the pretty but lost soul. The major down fall of this movie was the love story...it was unbelievable. Not to mention the chemistry between Tatum and Cody Horn was comparable to that of an awkward exchange between two people on a blind date. Cody Horn herself wasn't likable, she was awkward and distant. She also had a serious case of 'KStew' face...you know emotionless and pretty much the same face the whole movie. Other than that the movie was entertaining, and funny! Matthew McConaughey steals the movie with his outrageously funny scenes! Overall its a good girls night out movie, with more too it than just sexy boys; i would have liked to see Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello have a bigger part but they do their jobs well!
Hey fellow music lovers! Here's my music minute review of Justin Bieber's new album 'Believe'.
Because we are talking about the Biebs, I believe I need a disclaimer so here it is: I'm not a fan girl, or Believer but I'm not native enough to not realize this kid is majorly talented. So here's my Un-bias is review of his new album. And yes, I realize this is a little late but I like to give the album sometime to grow on me before judging it.
1. All Around the World (feat. Ludacris) Luda + JB= another great pop song. This is one my favorite songs on the album; It's catchy, fun and upbeat. 2. Boyfriend: At first I was disappointed by the first Single of JB's album but this song grew on me and I enjoy it. However it is quickly being over played on the radio....But still a great pop song! 3. As Long As You Love Me (feat. Big Sean): the hype around this song is huge, and it will JB's second single off his CD but for me it just falls flat. I wanted it to grow on me but it never did...I guess ill stick to the Backstreet Boys version of this song (:
4. Catching Feelings: I like the tone of this song...Justin's not talking about falling in love he's more focused on the feelings.
5. Take You: One of my favorite songs off the album, its fun. It does a great job of showing off JB's new vocal ranges. 6. Right Here (feat. Drake): I'm a sucker for any Drake collaboration, however I feel like this one was a wasted opportunity. It a good song, maybe one of Bieber's strongest...but I can't help feeling like I've heard it before...maybe in 'Right Next to You' with Chris Brown...maybe its just me. 7. Fall: One of the best songs on the album; it's a typical JB slow pop song and it works. 8. Died in Your Arms: I love this song. I think this is Justin's biggest jump. The song has a Motown feel to it and you know what it works. 9. Thought of You: A great song, not too serious but fun to listen to regardless. Justin gets to show off his vocal range. 10. Beauty and a Beat (fest Nicki Minaj): YES. Best song on the album; sure its corny but it's loads of fun. I find this one on repeat daily! 11. One Love: This also goes back to Justin's traditional stuff but it works for him. 12. Be Alright This one grew on me. Its simple and raw but got a great meaning. 13. Believe: The title track of the album does just what it's called; it makes you 'Believe' not just in Bieber but in his fans. Great song. 14. Out of Town Girl: Not feeling it. AT ALL. 15. She Don't Like the Lights: I'm hit or miss on this one...it's got a great beat but the lyrics are ridiculous. 16. Maria: Justin channeled his inner Michael Jackson on this one, it has a 'Billy Jean' feel to it. It works but not the strongest.
Overall it's a strong album. You gotta hand it to the kid; he took some chances. Some paid off greatly and others fell flat. I'm sad to say that I'm disappointed...I was hoping he would do more mature stuff and head towards to a Chris Brown/Drake route (i.e., his remixes of 'Ladies Love Me' & 'Trust Issues')...but 'Believe' definite step in the right direction.
Hello my darlings! It's been awhile but I'm back ((: Since I have a profound love for movies, I decided to add a new category to my blog. Welcome to my new movie review page...Movie talk! I'm not a professional but sometimes its good hear someone else's opinion on a movie before deciding if you want to see it or not. ENJOY!
First up: The Amazing Spiderman:
This movies wasn't what I would call 'amazing' however, highly entertaining does cross my mind. The problem is the story line: We've seen it before in 2002 version of this movie. Peter Parker and his childhood troubles, then his transformation. This is no Christopher Nolan story line here, but much more lighthearted and family friendly. Also, another issue with this movie the villain...he was boring and bland. However, what this movie has that the pervious versions didn't: an amazing cast. Andrew Garfield shines as Peter Parker. He's awkward, geeky, adorable and charming; the audience can't help but fall for him. Throw in the spectacular Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and you have a match made in casting heaven. (As of lately the of chemistry between co-stars has been lacking, or so I think) Garfield and Stones's scenes are what ties the movie together and add the touch of humanity. Additionally there's Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field who all do a tremendous job. Let's not forget the up and comer Chris Zylka as the school bully, who does a great job. Overall 'The Amazing Spiderman' put the heart back into a franchise that was lacking after the disappointing 'Spiderman 3'. It's funny, charismatic and a great summer blockbuster.

"At this moment, there are 6 billion, 4 hundred, 71 million, 8 hundred, 18 thousand, 6 hundred, 71 people in the world. Some are running scared.. some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day.. others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men at war with good, and some are good.. struggling with evil. 6 billion people in the world, 6 billion souls -- and sometimes...all you need is 1."
"Someone once said; "It's the good girls who keep diaries. The bad girls never have the time." Me? I just wanna live a life I'm gonna remember, even if I don't write it down." -Brooke Davis
"Because it's only when you're tested that you truly discover who you are. And it's only when you're tested that you discover who you can be. The person that you want to be does exist, somewhere in the other side of hard work and faith, and belief and beyond the HEARTACHE and fear of what life had." Lucas Scott

As we are faced with the ending of our beloved show i leave you with this....
"Most of our lives are a series of images, they pass us by like towns on a highway. But sometimes a moment stuns us as it happens and we that this instant is more than a fleeting image. We know that this moment, every part of it, will live on forever." Lucas Scott
