Do's and Dont's of break ups

Okay so its a new year-and the break up bug seems to be going around.
this is perfectly fine- everything happens for a reason, but i thought i would take this chance and give you guys and girls a little friendly advice on how to handle these unpleasant confrontations.

DONT's
1. don't lie- this is senseless, its didn't work out no big deal
2. don't make excuses.
3.text message or email - this is massive cop out.
4. don't use lame lines- "its not you, its me" (riiiight)
5. don't throw your new flame (if there is one in their face.)
6. let your ego get the best of you- i get it- break ups aren't fun but be the bigger person.
8. be scared of emotions- she may cry- but she will get over it. Don't freak out boys.
7.dont try to be friends right after the breakup- give it time.

DO's
1.be honest- but not brutally
2. make it quick-there's no reason to drag this out
3. make up your mind before you go into it- and be committed to this break up
4 be nice- theres no reason for name calling or pointing fingers.
5. talk it out- if you let each other get closure this will prevent any drama in the future
6. end it with dignity- we get it, it didn't work out-move on an appreciate the memories you got from your relationship

Our story has three parts: a beginning, a middle, and an end. And although this is the way all stories unfold, I still can't believe that ours didn't go on forever."
— Nicholas Sparks (Dear John)

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.” ― Marilyn Monroe
